Orbit announces appointment of new Technology and Data Director

Not-for-profit housing group Orbit has welcomed Neil Laird as its new Technology and Data Director, further strengthening its leadership team as it continues to significantly invest in digital transformation as part of its 2030 Strategy.

Not-for-profit housing group Orbit has welcomed Neil Laird as its new Technology and Data Director.

In his new role, Neil will oversee the organisation’s technology and data teams, continuing to drive integrated digital transformation and embed data-driven decision making in support of Orbit’s 2030 ambition to deliver amongst the best customer experience of any housing association in the country.

Neil joins Orbit with over 20 years’ experience in leading complex technology, data and operational environments across sectors including national infrastructure, retail and managed services. Neil’s background includes delivering improvements in service reliability, data capability, cyber resilience and digital customer experience in leadership roles with Correla, Bestway Retail, Halfords and Serco.

Neil commented: “I’m delighted to join Orbit.
