Young people in Wymington enjoyed a host of free Easter activities thanks to a mobile youth club brought to the community by local housing provider Orbit in partnership with charity Guiding Young Minds (GYM).
Packed with a games console, sports gear, arts and crafts and a full music system, the youth bus offered a range of free, fun‑filled Easter activities for local young people. Alongside the excitement, GYM’s trained youth workers were there to boost confidence, offer mentoring, and provide a supportive listening ear to anyone navigating personal challenges.
Emily Brunsdon, Orbit’s Place Investment and Partnerships Lead East Midlands, said:
“We know from speaking to our customers that there is a real appetite for more activities for young people, so we’re delighted to be working with GYM to bring these free Easter sessions directly into the heart of the community. It’s great to see young people and families taking advantage of this safe, engaging space where young people can enjoy positive activities during the school break.”
GYM is a registered charity that specialises in supporting young people to navigate personal challenges and make positive life choices.
