We’re driving innovative initiatives such as low-carbon district heating, and we’re working to manage the entire development process from land acquisition to house building ourselves. What’s more, we’re driving large-scale regeneration projects, too, where we’re investing heavily to improve our existing portfolio in a sustainable way.

Sales and Marketing

At Orbit, we believe in working to make sure that more and more people have the chance to buy a high-quality, affordable home. To make this happen we provide the very widest range of options, including, Market Sale and Shared Ownership.

Our Sales and Marketing teams really connect with customers and take them carefully through every stage of the house buying process, building a relationship of trust and respect. We work to get an in-depth understanding of every customer’s needs, finding not only the right home for them, but the right type of tenure to help them get on, or move up, the property ladder. What’s more, we’re always developing our services to find new ways to make the home buying experience easy, stress-free, interactive and enjoyable.

There’s a very clear career progression route within our sales team. Formal training is provided in areas from selling skills, and brand awareness to house sale processes. What’s more, regular regional and whole team meetings mean you’ll always be involved, included and listened to.

With plans to build 6,500 new homes by 2025, there’s a lot of scope to grow in our Sales division, where you’ll be fairly rewarded with clear commission structures, and nurtured as part of a team that takes great pride in its work.

Land and New Build

At Orbit, we’re very proud of the fact we build our own houses – whether they are for sale or for rent. From the moment we achieve planning consent, our build operations and site management teams take complete ownership of development projects. They deliver award-winning homes that enhance thousands of people’s surroundings and create security for households across the Midlands and the East of England.

Our Site Managers and Project Managers oversee the installation of roads and essential utilities, whilst supervising the army of trade experts from bricklayers to plumbers who build our properties Health, Safety, Welfare and Wellbeing is paramount in all our work – as is the strongest commitment to delivering for our customers.

We want every Orbit home to be durable, sustainable and finished to the highest standards as well as delivering real value for the people that live in it and Orbit itself (with every penny of profit reinvested back in the communities we serve, there’s an extra incentive to deliver strong commercial results).

Commercial Property Services & PRS

At Orbit, we believe in people. So we have faith in our Commercial and Private Rental Sector team to bring in £24 million in annual profits; profits that we can reinvest straight back into creating affordable homes, and services that help communities thrive.

Leading the way within Orbit (and across the housing sector) we’re innovating in areas ranging from developing smart home technology for our rented properties, to delivering digital services for our private tenants. We’re also expanding rapidly, with plans to deliver 1,600 more market-leading rented homes in the next eight years so we can bring even more choice to our customers with a wider mix of tenure types.
