Orbit is a fantastic business and one that’s really going places so this is an excellent opportunity to join our proactive Tenancy Response Team.

You will cover stock predominantly in the Hastings area, but flexibility to work with the team and cover issues over the South  area is key, so own transport is vital. We are looking for an experienced individual to support and manage tenancy issues.

You will provide specialist advice and support to both customers and colleagues on all aspects relating to general needs tenancies and be actively involved in a range of Tenancy Management work including Breach of Tenancy, Assignment & Successions, Evictions, New Customer Visits, Tenancy Reviews, and Tenancy Audits – so experience in Housing Management is vital.

What will help you make a difference.

  • Recent and demonstrable track record in successfully managing tenancy related matters
  • High level of knowledge in relevant legislation and best practice
  • Able to prepare case files and Court papers and prepared to present cases in Court without legal support
  • Experience of successfully delivering good outcomes through partnership working
  • Able to deal with difficult and challenging people and situations
  • An innovative thinker with an ability to be flexible in approach in a busy and ever changing environment
  • Excellent verbal and other communication skills, including the ability to prepare reports
  • High levels of IT literacy
  • A flexible approach to working hours and location.
  • Ability to travel across the business to meet the requirements of the role.
  • Able to pass an Enhanced DBS check
