We’re looking for a Senior Estates Operative to join our busy Property/Estate Services team, providing a high-quality maintenance service for our customers, and logistical support for our Estates Managers in the East.
This will include all grounds maintenance, horticultural work and communal cleaning as well as assisting Managers in designing and implementing shift rotas, checking of the asset register of equipment and machinery, and delivering competency-based training to other members of staff. As a Senior member of the team, safety will be one of your key priorities by conforming to COSHH regulations and ensuring all staff members adhere to Orbit’s Health and Safety policies and procedures.
A full driving licence is essential for this role as mobile travel between estates is required. You will cover Norfolk, Suffolk, and some areas of Hertfordshire and Kent.
Key skills required:
Good practical knowledge of COSHH
Practical experience of Grounds maintenance and cleaning
Building shift rotas for scheduling of works
