We are looking for 3 Project Surveyors to join our newly formed Net Zero Carbon strategy team, as part of the Strategic Asset Management department. Our Project Surveyors will assist in implementing solutions to reduce carbon and increase the energy efficiency of our homes.

You will assist the Net Zero Carbon Strategy Manager in developing the strategy into deliverable work programmes. You will also assist in carrying out site surveys, and as a subject matter expert in energy efficiency you will understand and recommend measures in line with the strategy.  A good understanding of how efficiency measures relates to RdSAP rating/CO2 emissions will be an important part of the role.

You will manage our pilot schemes through our Innovation Hub to enable us to gather intelligence on cost, performance and reliability of innovative internal/external insulation measures. You will support in identifying any new and existing products coming to the market that may assist in delivering the strategy.

This role is based from our office in Stratford Upon Avon, but you will be an Agile worker. This means we are fully flexible to allow a few days home working per week, which will be arranged locally with your manager. You will need to be able to come into the office to suit the needs of the business.

 

About you

As our ideal Project Surveyor, you will have:

  • Experience in a similar position with an expertise around energy efficiency and understand the outcomes of how efficiency measures relates to RdSAP rating/CO2 emissions
  • Experience across small value projects including pre contract and post contract administration
  • Knowledge of relevant property and legislation with a specific focus on energy efficiency
  • Knowledge of carrying out dynamic site surveys and applying your technical expertise to establish what specific measures are required
  • Strong communication skills, and be able to build strong relationships with key stakeholders across the business and external suppliers
  • Domestic Energy Assessor (DEA) certification would be advantageous
  • The ability to work with minimal supervision, with a high degree of initiative
