Your role at Orbit.

We have a permanent post available at one of our Extra Care Schemes in Norwich. We are looking for a customer focused individual to lead a small team of staff to provide excellent housing and support for the customers based there.

You will have experience of working with older and vulnerable groups and be able to promote an independent lifestyle. You will have strong communication skills and be able to engage both internal and external stakeholders.

You will take responsibility for the housing provision, compliance and safety checks and ensure the wellbeing of all customers. You will have strong interpersonal skills and be able to build effective working relationships.

  • Line management experience – ability to motivate and lead a team
  • Understanding of Extra Care schemes and requirements
  • Ability to manage challenging situations and resolve issues
  • Excellent communication skills and interpersonal skills
  • Customer focused and a record of delivering excellent service
