The variety of Graduate and Apprenticeship Programmes we offer is broad and varies year by year dependent on business needs. Roles which we have recruited for in the past for both programmes include Information Technology, Property Management, Sales, Construction, Graphic Design, Tenancy Services and Finance (to name a few).

What we look for in our Graduate Programme

  • A high performing self–starter, able to motivate both themselves and others.
  • Ability to influence others, a team player and able to work both as part of a team and as a leader within a team.
  • Ability to think analytically, to apply skills and knowledge in new contexts and to problem solve.
  • Demonstrate an enquiring mind and desire to seek better ways of working.
  • Ability to work under pressure to tight deadlines, including project work.
  • Build excellent relationships.
  • Ability to communicate clearly and effectively through oral and presentational skills as well as excellent writing skills.
  • Excellent numeracy and literacy skills.
  • Experience of using a range of I.T. packages (including Excel, Word etc.)
  • Ambition to progress into management and leadership positions.
  • Relevant Degree minimum 2.2 classification (or equivalent).
  • Ability to travel if necessary.

What we look for in our Apprenticeship Programme

  • Demonstrate behaviours which are consistently in line with Orbit’s values of Driven, Innovation, Responsible, Invest and Achieving Together.
  • 5 GCSE at grades (*A-C/9-4) or equivalent including Mathematics and English.
  • Basic knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills.
  • Good problem solving skills.
  • A flexible approach to working hours.
  • Good attention to detail.
  • Good organisational, planning and time management skills.
  • Ability to work as part of a team.
  • Ability to work under pressure to tight deadlines, including project work.
  • Excellent numeracy and literacy skills.
