Craig joined Orbit in April 2017 as Group Director of People and Strategy. His responsibilities include leading a large team across HR, People Development, Corporate Strategy, Communications, Brand, Corporate Affairs, Environmental Sustainability and Community Investment.
During his time at Orbit, Craig has overseen the implementation of a new agile culture leading to Orbit becoming a Sunday Times Top 100 company, alongside completing a successful business-wide re-structure and transformation programme, introducing an improved pensions and benefits scheme for employees and establishing new corporate and environmental strategies for Orbit.
Craig leads Orbit’s Better Day programme, a £5m annual investment into our local communities to improve both local places alongside the wellbeing and skills of our customers. Each year we run the Thriving Communities Awards to recognise the impact of this work on the lives of our customers.
Craig has over 15 years extensive experience in employee engagement, business and cultural change, talent management and organisational development gained in a variety of large national and international businesses. Prior to Orbit he was HR Director for G4S plc with responsibility for over 15,000 people where he delivered large scale business change and led the successful transfer and delivery of a strategic partnership with Lincolnshire Police.
He holds a Masters within HR and is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Personnel & Development (FCIPD).
